About Me.
Ramsey Gavin is a senior at Kent State University. He is majoring in Digital Science with a concentration in Software Development he received his Associates of Science degree from Columbus State Community College in 2011 and he is looking forward to his graduation for his bachelor of science degree in December 2018.
He is currently holding a 3.7 GPA at Kent State. In 2014 he received his Personal Training, and Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification. He also was a strength and conditioning coach for three years at Columbus State Community College for the athletic department.
He currently balances his time between work and school. He works at Ravago Barberton in the shipping and receiving department as a dockworker. He has been in his position since March 2016.
Ramsey has plans to return to communities, like the one he grew up in to serve as a role model for young kids. He would love to begin his own basketball league and Boy Scout troop. He feels those things gave him an opportunity to grow and showed him the world outside of his community. After school programs provide kids with a safe space and positive influences, which he benefited from as a child. He feels being a positive role model can really inspire young kids.
